If an artificial Canal existed to transfer water to Water deprived areas this water would be stored in Artificial lake (Sindh or Baluchistan) if a canal network can extent the transfer of extra water to desert zone

How would you explain the sinkhole on the artery of lahore? Plus it's true roads and cities do get flooded during excessive rain but with proper drainage this fiasco can be avoided, I live in Bahria Town, after heavy down pour the main expressway was flooded even with proper drainage, but it only lasted for 30mins or so after the rain was over, all the water drained out and no machinery was needed to remove the excessive water.

the drainage system in out cities needs improvement but with this kind of rainfall every city of the world would have flooded. sadly such types of natural disasters are taken for political point scoring in pak. i wont blame entirely showbaz for this although i hate noonis.

UK cities don't flood. Small villages do, big cities dont.
