Lahore HC has rejected Hamza's bail Hamza arrested by NAB

time will tell if like in past pindi boys arresting politicians and blackmailing them to keep them in control or if this is real accountability! lets hope its real accountability and not puppet master attaching strings!

.
Actually a clever tactics is used by Hamza's legal team, which I hope is going to back fire on them big time.
They were asked to give arguments in favor of their bail extension applications. They were engaged in the arguments, but when they realised they don't have any valid arguments in favor of their bails applications, they decided to withdraw their applications.
Once their applications were withdrawn, Hamza didn't have the protection of the bail, therefore, vulnerable to the fact that NAB's arrest.

The judges didn't make the decision, but they were left with no choice after withdrawal of the applications. Strictly speaking the judges didn't give any decision against Hamza. They have no option but to dismissed the applications once his lawyer said they are withdrawing them.

The reason why his lawyer done that is to keep their bail rights intact. Now they are going to submit applications to the SCP on the grounds that they were not given opportunities by the LHC to present their arguments.
As a matter of fact they had the opportunities but didn't had any valid arguments to give.
Ugh what a mess

For Youthians

LAHORE: A Lahore High Court division bench on Wednesday suspended sentence of a Jaranwala lawyer who was convicted of injuring a civil judge by hitting him with a wooden chair and released him on bail.

The bench headed by Justice Syed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi directed the convicted lawyer to submit two surety bonds of Rs200,000 each before the trial court.

An anti-terrorism court of Faisalabad had awarded a collective imprisonment of 18 years to Advocate Imran Manj under section 7 of Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 and other sections of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The convict had attacked Civil Judge Khalid Mahmood for not extending him favour in a personal criminal case. The injured judge was shifted to hospital for treatment.

Advocate Burhan Moazam Malik represented the appeal and argued that fundamentals of justice had been seriously compromised by the trial court while handing down the impugned punishment. He said the conviction was beyond the facts of the incident and urged the bench to suspend the conviction of the lawyer till decision of the appeal.

The lawyers in Punjab had been protesting against the conviction of their colleague.
