@ÇölKaplanı I started watching the movie last night on my phone around midnight and after watching first 12 mins I decided to watch it on big telly screen as it seemed very well made and also fast paced. I have not yet had a chance to watch the rest so will give full review later on today haha. Movie looks promising.

Hi,

It is 'ours' also---it is a part of our heritage as well---going back centuries. Conquests of Turkish origin warriors were far and wide over the centuries---they just did not start and ended what is Turkey but all thru the Islamic world---.

Ertugrul gave gave hope and character to muslims all over the world---it showed them that minuscule ray of hope that was missing from their lives---. It reminded them of from where they originated and what made them great for centuries to where they are now---.

The serial Dirilus Ertugrul was the most wonderful gift that Turkey could ever give to the muslim world---a hope for the revival---and an endeavor to search for your identity in a world that we ssem to be lost in---.

It's intriguing to me how can a show give you guys hope, in what way? I know many people who religiously follow these series but I am not interested one bit. It's the typical dose of cultural Muslim endorphins which is detached from reality and almost always meant for propaganda purposes. In this case Turkey and Turks want other Muslims to look up to them and view them as what made Islam great.

Such series/shows like these should be forbidden in Islam, whether its about the Sahaba or other Muslim Caliphs or Sultans. If all Muslims want is just glory/power in this life, then this tells you they will not change themselves. They will remain cultural Muslims that put obedience to God as secondary to their Dunya goals and lifestyle. Then they will fight(Turks/Iranians/Arabs) over rule of this 'glorious' Ummah since they all are attention seeking.

God doesn't care if you we get powerful on this earth and the point of returning to him is not about getting powerful and protecting ourselves from enemies. God wants to see who will sacrifice and what will they sacrifice for the sake of him. Reason he will give divine victory to select few is to prove to the Son of Adam that they can give victory to those that society shun.

If you give Muslims option to vote for Caliph and had 10 candidates, the worst guy in character will get millions of votes while best guy will get zero. And if this is the case we know Muslims are corrupted to the soul and not obeying Allah as was intended. Shows are not gonna help us, if people like shows like these then they believe in delusion, especially when it comes delusion in understanding what is worship/obedience of God.

It is not about having one ethnic group control and praise themselves as great Muslims. Being obedient to God is not easy and requires much patience and suffering. And Muslims actually shun and develop hatred against good Muslims and will go out of their way to silence them or kill them. They do not defend God in any way but defend their cultural Muslim lifestyle and ethnic groups to the death.

I feel kurulus Osman is miscasted let's hope next seasons turns out better

It's a great show. It's not quite Dirilis Ertugrul but people forget the early seasons of that show too. They remember the glory and not the trials and tribulations.

I think they both do well for the AKP vote Bank but also have a massive Muslim following around the world. As mentioned by @MastanKhan it's given hope to people who feel hopeless.

It's not God's fault it is our fault we don't want to adopt sincere worship. Worship is so many things. One example, refraining from having cliques in society in which one group of best looking people remain to themselves, refraining from that and being inclusive to other Muslims is one act of worship that is more important than Muslims think.

One very large act of obedience to Allah(SWT) is not giving up the truth to advance ones interests or to fit into group of Muslims. We see many people developing worship of their party/government/scholar/sect even it goes against the truth and what God ordained for them.

Another one is not to adopt 'cool' culture. 'Cool' culture is not good and is the way of the Shaytaan. Allah's Prophets rejected 'cool' culture and they were hated by ordinary people. Muslims think it was governments who hated them only, which is not true, even ordinary people hated them and viewed them as losers who are sacrificing personal Dunya for their Lord.

These are just two examples of a list of probably thousands of acts of worship. Muslims ignore 95% of them and thus we have widespread corruption, scholars/imam shaytaans masquerding as men of faith, oppression, clique culture among ordinary people, rudeness, supporting evil, borrowing money and not paying it back, scamming each other, stealing, killing without justification, widespread fornication and lifestyle intended to chase after opposite sex and so on.

For so many people they don't want to sacrifice just chasing opposite sex alone. It is very prevalent nowadays that guys chase after good looking girls for haram reasons and likewise girls try to impress good looking guys and socalize together and do haram acts together. And they recieve praise and cheers from their friends for every 'score'. And then said people will go on Facebook or forums and talk about Muslim Ummah and so on. And I don't mean you, I know you are an elderely sir and respect you.

Brother, thanks for teaching me about your history and your kind words. I have a basic knowledge of your history but I've learned a lot more thanks to you and I'd like to learn a lot more. I don't care about ideologies or persons(except Ataturk, Bayezid I, Mehmed the Conqueror and Selim I) It doesn't matter if it's Erdogan or someone else. I have respect for them regarless of what they do but I only care about seeing a strong Turkey and a strong Muslim world in General. I think majority of you Pakistanis support Erdogan because of his support on Kashmir and you guys fear that that support will end if Erdogan is not the president. That is absolutely wrong as you guys are our brothers. But I believe in common manners and values and insulting an important leader of a nation or religion should be punished regarless of the nations. It doesn't and shouldn't matter if he's Pakistani or not. There are common manners and I'd have asked the same thing if a Turk did the same behaviors against a value of your Pakistani brothers. There must be common manners and rules regardless of nations or else people would start to insult our Prophets...

Let me put it in simple words.

Pakistanis irrespective of their thinking love Turkey not because of Erdogan but because you are Turkish.

Even if someone else was your President, people would still love you.. but Erdogan has openly supported Paks stance on Kashmir which has, lets say he has made us love you more. And even if you had a staunch Kemalist in power, the reaction would have been the same.

Most Pakistanis, like regular people don’t know much about Ataturk or Erdogans politics. Most of them probably cant even tell you about 3 Turkish cities apart from Istanbul or Ankara. Yet they feel a special bond with a country they havent seen.. most of them due to the Khalifat.

Else why would we send our sons or whatever we had to fight for you?
Why would entire regiments (from Pakistan) of british army revolt and turn their guns at the british when told to fight the Ottomans.
