The song kun faya kun from rock star has lines which go like 'wo Jo mujh mein samaaya,WO Jo tujh mein samaaya,maula wahi wahi Maya'.
That line is a direct pick from advaitha philosophy of shankaracharya which says' God is there in every living being(in fact in everything) and that there is only single entity in this universe which expresses itself in various forms..god and his creation are not different but one and the same and it is only the Maya(illusion) that makes us believe that god and you are separate and different'
Islam on the other hand says god is everywhere(not in everything) and he and his creation are 2 different things.
So aren't those lines going against Islamic principles?I know it is a Sufi song ;but I heard that song being sung even on Qtv(which preaches orthodox sunni Islam)

.
Dont judge Islam based on lyrics of Bollywood songs. For example there is another song which contradict what Islam teach for exmaple tujh main rab dhikta ha yara main kia karhoon..and songs like Rab se be zyada tuje pyraar karoon..such songs violate basic teaching of toheed in Islam

You got me wrong..the lyrics in that song reflect sufi philosophy.. My question was actually do you people accept Sufism as part of Islam?

What is sufi philosophy? If sufi philosophy contradict with islamic teaching then we dont follow it.

There are many versions and forms of ''Sufi philosophy''. Some are compatible with Islam, others are not. People who are 'Sufi Muslims' either follow a watered-down version of Sufism or compromise on some essential aspects of Islam. The former constitute the majority. It can be argued that the latter are out of the fold of Islam, but proclaiming so would be Takfir, which is why we can't make any sweeping statements.

As for Sufism itself being a part of Islam, no, I wouldn't put it that way. Sufism is not a part of Islam. Some aspects of Sufism are compatible Islam, but some may not be.

what ever you have said is correct.

Allah has made us with his energy so he is in every one of us because his essence is in us. It is just like Hierarchy

A------>B------->C

So being a Muslim you believe in Sufism which is closely related to Hindu Vedanta?

I don't know Quran very much, but this is the best logic one can understand. And refuting it with some radical belief is like ignoring the truth.

No One became prophet after reading the book , all the books were introduced when prophets came. :)
