KSA protecting Ben Ali of Tunisia

KSA should extradite Ben Ali and his family to Tunisia to face criminal charges. Why is Saudi Arabia giving refuge to Ben Ali? What connections does Ben Ali have with the royal family in KSA? Or does he have any connection at all. KSA really should stop giving refuge to corrupt leaders who are facing rightful charges in their respective home countries.
