They gave power to IK....??? AND IK did what you'd expect someone from his caliber of intellect (or lack of it), he back stabbed the people who gave him the government. He back stabbed his own nation and country by lying to people about all these weird things and doing sit-ins causing billions of loss to an already poor country..........do you want to build the country's most basic infrastructure first or do you want power to be given down to every level.......if you did that, and took away the current government's focus from growing the economy, then who'll pay these "lower level leaders" salaries?

IK allocated this money as a political stunt. He hasn't spent 30% of the KPK's budget on growth plans. BUT, he'll spend billions to show "power rolling down to the lower level".....who's going to pay for it if the country can't afford it????

Does China give power to the "lower level people"? Indians? Russians? Did that happen in the US a 100 years ago to the degree you guys talk about? NO!! the systems were developed slowly and WITH PEACE and the first thing that had to be put in, was the infrastructure that can SUPPORT a country running on her own and overhead of so many locally run governments.

Which Mayor of Pakistan can run a city on his own, have local tax base that they can use to build the city more, all streets, all lights, highways going through individual cities, cover city based Police stations, Police force, city based hospitals and all through that city's tax dollars? The answer is a FAT ZERO!!!! So grow your muscles first to be able to handle a 200 pound Barbell. Once you have the bones and body to lift that, then you can put more weight on the 200. Similarly, let the country move in some direction a little bit where the tax base can AFFORD salaries of this additional burden of power you want to create (without having the ability to pay for these many new people inside the administration by city). Hell, first demarcation of each cities, their borders and their tax base should be done and then tax base assessment analysis to see which city can sustain itself on her own. That's the place you should provide this administrative layer.
Its like a poor family with 4 kids and its hard on the parents to even provide for these 4, but then somehow, they decide to have 4 more children, without having more income, assets or other abilities to provide for them.
Its time that Pakistan uses a system to everything per her internal capacity. There are two billion things that you could do to strengthen the system, doesn't mean everything is an option. This here, has to happen. But when the country gets to a level in a couple of year that her economy and tax payers can generate revenue that can sustain city-based governments. Otherwise, you'd lose many billions in trial and error and all big projects will stop, the government's focus will go away and they'll get into a mode of "let's save our power" at the local level. You have to analyze pro and cons. People always wanting MILITARY intervention, all of a sudden want the power to be given down to the city level......a complete contradiction of the stance, another U turn and another spamming scheme to keep innocent Pakistan's brains filled with scam and bulshiit!!!
