TTP appears very difficult to beat because it engages in guerrilla warfare. Having a recognized office would make them organized, and then it will be be much easier to fight them. Another benefit of having a TTP office in the area will be that it'll be much easier to communicate with them directly, and bring their real face to the commoners of the area. That way, whenever they appear to be going against the ideology of Islam, they will not be able to hide behind silence and people can easily see their real faces.

This will only help reduce their popularity whenever the commoners are hurt by their actions.

You should welcome this move from Imran Khan.

According to Mr. Khalid Maqbool, offices of JI and PTI are the offices of TTP. Why they need to open anymore offices. Boy I totally disagree with MQM-style politics, but Mr. Siddiqui has really nailed it. There cant be more comprehensive analysis of the issue at hand. Darya ko koozey mein band kar diya. Giving them an office.. be it for negotiations, politics or delivery of water bottles.. gives them a legitimate role as an organization that the Pakistan government does not consider hostile...or rather the KP government. I would not be surprised if the KP government next wants to give an office to the BLA.

BANNU: Two people, including a Frontier Corps (FC) man were killed Wednesday as a result of firing by unknown motorcyclists in Bannu, DawnNews reported.

According to police, the two persons, who were brothers, sustained severe injuries when they were fired upon within the remit of the Hoyad Police Station in Janikhel.

The victims were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in a critical condition where they succumbed to their injuries.

Following the incident, police personnel cordoned off the area and a search operation went underway to apprehend those responsible.

No arrests were reported till the filing of this report.

The northwestern town of Bannu, which stands at the gateway to the semi-autonomous Waziristan tribal region, is 150 kilometres southwest of Peshawar, the capital of KP.

The town has witnessed a number of attacks and was the scene of a massive jail break in April 2012 during which 384 prisoners escaped from its central prison.

What i don't understand is that TTP has never made such a demand nor have they ever showed any interest on such an offer, infact they have rejected this offer in the past, then why after every few days past the KPK govt. keeps on insisting on this idea again and again ? This would never happen, it should never happen.
