New Delhi, Dec 1: Korean media is all praise for wave of economic reforms being initiated by Narendra Modi-led NDA government.
Citing leading financial institutions forecasts, Korean media says that India is on course to take pole position as the fastest growing major economy in the world beating out China.
Quoting International Monetary Fund’s report, Korean media said that for the first time in 16 years, India spearheaded by Narendra Modi’s economic reforms will grow faster than China.
Helped by pick up in manufacturing, India’s economy grew by 7.4 per cent in July-September, outpacing China to become the fastest growing major economy.
Also, with over $31 billion of foreign capital inflows, India surpassed China and the US to take the pole position in attracting largest FDI in the first half of 2015.
In a recent report, IMF had said that India’s growth will benefit from recent policy reforms, a consequent pickup in investment, and lower commodity prices.
