Kodokushi - A lonely death

This is a very eye opening and sad video in Japan about the increasing problem of loneliness. Kodokushi also known as lonely death refers to a Japanese phenomenon of people dying alone and remaining undiscovered for a long period of time.

Although this video is about this issue and its increasing prevalence in Japan, I'd like to stress this is becoming a global problem. I want to increase awareness to this horrible problem.
