How is it coming in the harsh monsoons of Chennai(that's what is my concern for the Kochi metro too)?

Not really, there are few junctions which needed fly overs...the flyover made in Edappally is inadequate and they got no clue what to do with Vyttilla Jn.

One advantage, the metro work made the roads widen, that would ease the traffic from aluva to mg road

Won't mak any difference in cochin, more over it is elevated, so It would be helpful in such situations

clueless authorities = Very irresponsible authorities.
I hope the metros are as goods as they are predicted to be.

Line 2 is some part is underground, some is on surface. But yet to be opened.
