Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received on Monday a telephone call from Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The two officials reviewed the bilateral ties and the prospects of cooperation in various fields, especially the partnership in implementing the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030.

King Salman also expressed his sincere condolences to Abe and the Japanese people over the victims of the heavy rains and floods that hit several areas in southern and western Japan.
