When ever you hear of

Suicide bomb going off in Wah killing 70 innocent people and responsibility claimed by so called taliban.

Grenades hurled into masjid and people killed while offering taraweeh .

The first thing one read in news and comes into mind is TALIBAN.the tehrik e taliban e pakistan.lead by Baitullah Mehsud.


That is a problem where Baitullah mehsud and TTP can be dubbed as Khwarijis because killing of 70 Innocent factory workers in Wah was totally unjustified.


meanwhile there is another fact that has to be kept in mind .Are these the real taliban or just self pro claimed one.the real taliban movement was started by Mullah omar from Afghanistan Kandahar.this is busy in Jihad against foreign troops.On instants Mullah omar and the Genuine taliban of Afghanistan have condemned Mehsud and TTP of Pakistan .Not only that Mujahideen in the Two waziristan agencies have formed alliance to counter Mehsud.

In an interview with this correspondent on satellite phone from an unknown location, Afghan Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that when the Pakistani Taliban began fighting against the United States and other allied forces who had occupied Afghanistan, they were united. But subsequently, he said, Baitullah and other Pakistani militants had started fighting the Pakistani military and "we have cut all ties with them and openly disown them".

He said the Taliban have a clear-cut policy of not fighting with any other Muslim country, especially with Pakistan, in any manner, and that they are strictly against fighting the Pakistani military.

"We have been fighting for Afghanistan's independence against foreign aggression since 2001 [when the Taliban were ousted] and the Afghan nation has a lot of hopes resting on us. That's why they have stood with us against the foreign military might. They are not supporting us to fight with Pakistan, but to fight against the US-led NATO [North Atlantic Treaty Organization] forces and liberate Afghanistan," Zabihullah Mujahid said. He said the Taliban had already issued a statement disowning Baitullah on their website


n a interview with Asia Times Online, Mullah Abdul Jalil, a pioneer of the Taliban movement in Kandahar, elaborated dated sep 10 2008

"Second, it is necessary to understand that there is a sea of difference between the people who call themselves the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Taliban [led by Mehsud] and the Taliban. We have nothing to do with them. In fact, we oppose the policies they adhere to against the Pakistani security forces.

"We individually speak to all groups, whether they are Pakistanis, Kashmiris, Arabs, Uzbeks or whosoever, telling them not to create violence in Pakistan, especially in the name of the Taliban. But although we don't have any control over them, we don't allow such groups to come into our areas. None of these is involved with us in fighting against NATO troops in Afghanistan," Jalil said.


So now the picture becomes very clear.the elements active in (afghanistan,Pakistan ) are

1)Genuine Afghan taliban(majority) having nothing to do with problems in pakistan and fighting their own legitimate war against NATO.

2)Khwariji self proclaimed taliban lead by baitullah mehsud(minority) killing innocent people and having nothing to do with Mullah Omar.

3)Genuine Pakistani taliban lead by Gul bahadur and Mullah nazir as Naib Amir having peace deal with Gov of Pakistan and nothing to do with recent suicidal and other attacks.

One most Important thing regarding all this mess is

Since the Ramadan started there have been 5 US strikes in North Wazirstan and Waziri areas of SWaziristan .One can ask why the US is only targeting the areas controlled by this NEW TALIBAN BLOCK LEAD BY GUL BAHADUR WHO HAS PEACE WITH PAKISTAN ARMY WHILE COMPLETELY NEGLECTING AREAS HELD BY MEHSUD'd Organization.Answer is very clear .Baitullah mehsud is playing in their hands so they neglect him while pin point areas of Gul bahadur.


On thursday sep11 Chief of Pakistan armed forces General Ashfaq parvez Kiyani gave a statement after threats by US that"Territorial soereignity of Pakistan shall be maintained at all costs"

Another report says"i.Army circles took serious notice of US specifically targeting areas where Army has peace deal with locals .The US pin pointed N Wazirstan and South wazirstan areas controlled by new taliban block neglecting Mehsud's areas.Army is also reported to have ordered troops and companies to intercept drones or shoot them down as they enter Waziristan.army has also formulated a policy of crushing TTP(Khwariji) while protecting deals with the Genuine taliban.Army is reported to have requested Civillian government to formulate solid policy"

I think it is very true.
But we need to very effective and vibrent Foreign Policy to match our strategic policies.
