This was 100% UFC's own fault they created a circus to accommodate McGregor

1) Press conference Dana white laughed while McGregor did every unsportsman like rant right in front of him.
2) He interrupted Khabib who was Defending champion from speaking
3) McGregor made fun of his nationality , his religion even his ancestors and heritage
4) The trash talkers even self promoted his own Whiskey , when it was time for Khabib to talk
5) Then worse of all while Khabib is defending champion for belt , McGregor comes with a mock cartoon belt
Like he is not even a champion
6) UFC referee was not calling illegal knee to head , and McGregor holding the gloves linings (illegal moves)
so just before final round Khabib was furious as referee that he is not calling the illegal moves

Finally , the fence was not high to prevent an incident for a fighter who is in survival mode in a nasty fight it is important he has the 20-30 seconds to cool down relax

What nobody else is mentioning is that the UFC is liable. They have established a culture of trash talk and hyping animosity to sell more tickets. Unsportsmanlike behaviour is tolerated and actually encouraged.
