Features of the global wealth distribution :

Combining the samples for all countries allows the overall features of the global distribution of
wealth to be identified, including, for instance, the minimum wealth of each percentile (i.e. 1%
group) and the share of total wealth owned by this group. To be among the wealthiest half of
the world, an adult needs only USD 4,000 in assets, once debts have been subtracted.
However, a person needs at least USD 75,000 to belong to the top 10% of global wealth
holders and USD 753,000 to be a member of the top 1%.

The bottom half of the global population together possess less than 1% of global wealth.
In sharp contrast, the richest 10% own 86% of the world’s wealth, with the top 1% alone accounting for 46% of global assets.
At the top, 32 million people control $98.7 trillion – that’s 41 percent of the world’s wealth in the hands of 0.7% of the total adult population.

And only USD 175 billion annually (for 20 years)is required to eradicate poverty from the world !!!!

If you have personal assets worth more than 4000 $ , you are more "rich" than half of the world ..
If you have a roof over your head (owned), clothes in your closet and food in your refrigerator , you are probably more rich than 85 % of the world population
