Key Taliban commander killed in Wana clash

WANA - An important commander of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has been reportedly killed during clashes with the security forces in the Zarmelan village of South Waziristan Agency. Sources said that eight days ago, key commander of TTP Aftab Khan Mehsud was killed in clashes between the security forces and TTP fighters in Zarmelan village of SWA. Official sources said Aftab Alam was the right hand of TTP chief Hakimullah Mehsud. The report came to the scene some days after the clash because the rugged region is not accessible to media due to volatile and difficult terrains.
