Kaveri Engine Project update

Keep your hahaha to yourself. As they say, better let people think that you're an idiot, rather then open your mouth and dispel all doubt. (And one who thanks an idiot for idiotic comments is also placed in the same category, let us remember that).

We don't have a simulated high altitude testing facility in India, so we're using Russia's facility to test an indigenously built engine.

The day your country manages to make something indigenously, you will understand this fact. Till then, shove your hahahahas deep inside.

Kaveri will be an Endo-French project, Work has not even been started on it, Currently its using Indian core till now and that is getting tested in Russia for High Altitude tests n performance.
And What is shame in selecting some high performance engine if indigenous engine is not ready in the given timelines? See ur neighbourhood how many indigenous engines were build and used in productions and how many are still in testing. It takes time to build some Aero engine from scratch and only few countries has this capacity, India will also have this in few yrs. You guys will understand these things when you start building something like that. Till the time just make un necessary comments only like fan boys.

and we don't have a spare IL76 so we out source its testing phase :smitten: .& people says only INDIAN BPO's enjoying outsourcing by US:argh:

French were not rectifying the blunders they were helping on some problems but were not able to complete so the left it later India was able to complete it self this is the first time we are building a jet engine so it is very difficult first you try to develop one on your self then you will know what it is like

French or any XYZ we have 100% know how on how to build a engine now..Now imagine in a war situation we will build our own engines against any enemy.where as u guys will beg china who indeed will beg russia for RD 93's.

Dont worry man this is not pakistan where jf17 :rofl: will be the back bone of the AF for more than an 3-4 decades.

We have much bigger plans for kaveri;), anyways a country with a military buget of the size of its rival's diwali buget wont understand.

please do keep in mind that if at all there is any conflict b/w India and Pak then it is going to be very short....There will not be any significant need to more engines delivery.....

Usually Jet engines intakes will be small,so the intake should also be small while simulating the engine

^^ Why does its air intake look awkwardly small?

kaveri is not a high bypass engine , it is a low bypass engine .
high bypass engines are used for passenger or cargo jets ( high bypaas means large front fan) and low bypass engines are used for fighter/bomber or cruise missiles with the front fan with a size of whole engine body
but as kaveri is low bypass engine it so air intake ( u can say front fan in this case) is looking small but yet we have test it on a military cargo jet thats why it is looking so.:devil::woot::yahoo:

well i respect ur point but u overlooked the point that i never said any conflict b/w india and pakistan.Pakistan has many enemies, like israel, may be USA..:cheesy:

Anyways during kargil PAF was not able to fly their f 16's to the 100% capabilities due to unavailability of spares,so who knows what lies ahead in future.??
