Well as a neutral observer I had no idea who Burhan was, have only seen some of his pictures in Pakistani media. Now I see a bit more him in this documentary, so I dont think its Pakistani made propaganda if you will. India needs to be smart about this and realize that people seem to have genuine grievances at least from this documentary, you can't go around killing people without knowing that one dead mean 2 taking his place. Furthermore if India considers Kashmir as part of India then it needs to deem its population also as indians and be sensitive to her population.

Good documentary. Although the numbers given here less than 100 still shows its not a full blown insurgency but India needs to smart about this and deal with it using diplomacy if you will rather targeting Kashmiris by forces if India considers them as her citizens.

We obviously cannot give them Azadi ie allow them to move away to Pakistan

But we have tried very hard to bring economic prosperity to Kashmir

And what happens is that these trouble makers spoil everything
and stop all developmental activities

Kashmir has only ONE percent of India's population but it gets TEN percent of all
The Central Government funds
( Two thirds of One percent ie 0.67 Percent are Sunni Muslims
who want Azadi ) SHIA Muslims want to remain in India

We pamper them a lot ; but if they have lost their mind and want to suffer ; it is their choice

No country in this world has EVER bent before its Much smaller and weaker enemy

Even The people from Pakistani Kashmir know that Indian Kashmir is in much better condition

Numbers joining have significantly increased given Burhan is dead now . 70 people dead and hundreds injured . 80th day of curfew in Kashmir with no internet , Mobile coverage , Killings , Beatings so you have an ugly picture . During the 89- 96 era things were really worse . It was the AK-47 era in Kashmir and people used to roam around with guns . That was the one time where it looked like Kashmir might slip away .
