No, those killings led to inter ethnic issues even outside of karachi too- thank God it stopped

mqm is no saint though and deserves to be put down... how many people have mqm killed in karachi? and how much has it cost pakistan in the long run? not agreeing to land grab by the military that shouldn`t happen!

Its about ethnic presence of "others" in army and its influential circles. Its about committing treason, having fun and blame others for being traitor. Its about deliberately keeping many parts of the country poor while blaming them for their state.
If I write complete truth here, you will see how ugly we Pakistanis and the so called state of Pakistan are.

This land allotment is becoming a curse now. This greed/bone to junior officers is making them subservient to all illegalities and atrocities of the seniors.

Yes, one should be given at least. Otherwise, officers will become less professional (diverted) and prone to corruption near retirement etc. Similarly, perks are given to other bureaucrats and judges. Very high judge's pensions are because they shouldn't take bribes.

Anyway, to stop coup, abductions, political engineering, these land allotments must be minimised.
