Karachi City drive...traffic flow is better than Dacca/Mumbai...??

This is one video but I am from Karachi and I can tell you how unclean it is. Few comments from outsiders and it makes Karachi clean? Not at all.

Our cleanliness standard thruout the country need some serious looking into.

There was a cleanliness drive launched which promised clean and green Pakistan. Any updates on that?

If Nawaz was from Sadiq Abad, with lot of hate for Lahoris in his heart, and each and every govt officer in Lahori establishment were from Sadiq Abad, then Lahore would have been lot worse than Karachi is now.
All people in Sindh who are in power hate Karachi and Karachi wala (that includes punjabi and Pathans as well).
The only solution to this situation is to separate Karachi and Hyderabad from Sindh and make it a separate province, which will be huge supporter of PTI.
Otherwise, stop cursing us, we can't do much in Karachi.

its nature of a financial city. karachiites are Proper Rude straight cut people.

First of all Karachi is not 6th most populous city it's way lower. Secondly Karachi roads need proper maintenance other wise most roads still have enough size to handle Karachi traffic.
Karachi is at 155th number population wise...

We can turn Hyderabad and Karachi into Bavaria of Pakistan, if we are separated from Sindh.
These two cities can produce enough revenue to pull Pakistan out of all financial crisis.

Pakistan needs inclusive development...separating Karachi and Hyd will make the interior Sindh people disenfranchised and with the rich and poor, rural and urban divide more evident, whole Sindh need to prosper and whole of Pakistan with it.

Across the board, cutting all section of people is what is required in development.

Karachiites are as polite or as rude as rest of Pakistan...guess why. Its a potpourri and melange' of all culture/heritage/linguistics from all across Pakistan.

-Karachi has more Pashtuns than Peshawar, more Mehsud tribes than FATA.

-Karachi has a large number of Punjabis can be anything between 4-6 million or more.

-Largest number of migrants from India, urdu speaking.

-Memons, Bohris, Agha Khanis, Parsis, Bengalis, Sindhis, Iranian, Balochs, Afghani's, Burmese, Gilgit and Balti, and dozens more make it a truly Cosmo city...more than any other city in Pakistan.

What is the purpose of this sage and intelligent comment...the video and the title is self explanatory.
Have some parity, you're comparing a city that's 6 times the size of Mumbai. Much less vehicle density.

Hazrat majbori jab ghar aur khandan waly sab Toronto main jama ho jaye what choice u got left ?? but here someone said quite right Karachi raods are much wider can handle more traffic bus agar side sy illegal construtions hata dain they block near half of capacity.My niece recently visited Lahore and amazed by roads size difference(but LAhore is lot cleaner and green to Karachi ) but comparing it on that scale is unfair Karachi by size 6 times larger than Mumbai 3530 sq/km to 603 sq.km (2010) aab tu aur bhi barh giya hai
Toronto is second Karachi. :p:

Most of the Karachi shown area and towns of 3500 sq. kms are not habitated, so the actual area where the population density is high is not even one fourth of the total city area.

Mumbai is more dense no doubt...

And the vehicle density in Mumbai must be lower as 80-85% of Mumbaikars uses Local Train. Karachi has more vehicles if you take the 2 wheelers and the cars and other vehicles as well. It is now more than 4.5 million in total.

Karachi traffic...


Traffic flow on some/many roads have improved because of signal free corridors, Karachi has more than 75 flyovers as well...and since the road lengths are longer the gridlocks and jams are not as severe as Dacca and Mumbai. Like a road length is say 12 Kms with 1 lac vehicle per day and there is another road which is 6 kms in length with 1 lac vehicle per day...the traffic flow will be better on the former.

The point is Karachi is not as densely populated as Mumbai or Dhaka. There is room for development too.
