One of the subdivision of Kalashnikov Group has presented a new modular tactical body armour gear during the International Military Technical Forum, Army-2016, in September last year. It's a "modular" vest
The magazine belt is detachable. It's not a integral part of the body armour vest.

Never heard about bullets explode after hit. Versa, magazins provide additional protection.
