Kalash, the lost tribe of Alexander: Beautiful People in a Beautiful Valley | Pakistan Travel Vlog

What about Chitrali Muslims? They are pretty too. Are they Kalash too?

Yes all the region and people are beautiful and with different culture and traditions, Kalashas are different in the sense that they are a minority and non Muslims, and they are called the lost tribe of Alexander army...

these european bastards wanna claim everything without any evidence?

BC greeks, Kalah practice an ancient religion with no connection to greeks. These people have no greek DNA & that has been debunked by science. About time we stopped scumbags from claiming it as theirs too.

And the evidence of it being debunked?

Googling aint hard now is it?

Chitralis are Kho, they speak Khowar.
A bug number of Kalash have also converted to Islam.

In Afghanistan, a small population lived, who were converted forcibly by Afghan kin in the 18-19th century and are called nuristanis today.

Lol.......it says they are related to Eurasian/Siberian tribes...................that's even more surprising. As they say, truth is stranger than fiction........

This nonsense has been debunked, they are a genetic isolate group, on the PCA chart, the closest ethnic groups to them are other Pakistani ethnic groups.

Once you convert to Islam, you are no longer considered a 'Kalash'. A large portion, if not half of the surrounding valleys at one point were 'Kalash'.

The Kalasha belong to the Dardic group, where the hell does Alexander come from? The closest group to the Kalasha are probably the Nuristanis from bordering Afghanistan.

Some people are sick enough to fetishize this sorta bullshit what the hell...

Even without the genetic research that has far debunked this nonsense, the whole theory was flawed to begin with.

Alexander and his army never even stepped foot that far up North. All of the Greek settlements were along the Indus. Nor do Greeks typically have colored hair/eyes.

Papu we talkin 10,000 year old theories here.
Back than even IVC didnt exist let alone asiatic lookin siberians who today look more chinese than fukin greasey.

Stop saying this nonsense!!

The Kalash are NOT Europeans or Greeks. They are totally indigenous to this region and genetically cluster with other Northern Pakistanis.

The ancestral components that contributed to their genetic make up (Indo-aryan, Indus farmer, native hunter gatherer) are shared by all ethnic groups in Pakistan.

The hypothesis of a 'genetically lost tribe' is very difficult to support in the views of the science of modern population genetics. Genetically homogeneous population would not survive long either let alone thousands of years.

Modern day Pakistan is Greco-Bactrian Kingdom - 205 BC to 10 AD.
