Brother if you check before the US attack and take over Afghan Taliban had control over 95% of Afghanistan area. Single rule and single policy provided them the stability. There were no factions fighting and people were happy. Definitely they were not the most mature ones but it takes time to develop such skills. We can use our influence to soften them up over certain issues like girls education and women's rights etc. They will learn with time and we can help to accelerate the process. Their govt in Afghanistan will eliminate all these terrorist camps and hideouts that RAW is running and also the NDS bastards like ungrateful and shameless karzai who spent twenty years in Pakistan as a refugee and now barks against Pakistan. Such filth needs to be removed. We cannot please all, we need to watch for ourselves and Afghanistan. With current setup, Afghanistan will never get stable and these terrorist activities would continue....Mark my words.Respectfully disagree,
Afghan Taliban have been supported for years and no stability has come. The solution is to make a dialogue possible between Afghan Taliban and the Afghan govt.
And get the idiot Afghan Taliban to develop some political structure and become an armed pressure group like Hizbullah. If they think they can repeat the 1990s, this will lead to more bloodshed and greater instability.
I think Pak must have had shared such evidence of Afghan and Indian involvement, and TTP safe havens in Afgh with US also, numerous times... Even when Susan Rice was in Pak too, Pak would have shared info.... But again, nothing happened.... Fazlullah and khorasani and all such elements are still alive and they keep on saying do more to Pak... Its been a decade tht we have been hoping tht Afghans or US would do something about it.. Its high time now, Pak should do some action on its own..or keep waiting for further attacks like these in Pak
The problem is that you cant give an overt danda, since that danda will get shoved right back (one way or the other) using American support. That is if at all Pakistan is able to demonstrate political and military will to do something overtly.I am tired of this BS. Army intercepted calls from Afghanistan, Afghanistan rejected (No surprise) question remains now what?
Any country with an ounce of respect and military the size of ours should have had given danda to Afghanistan but we only hear crap coming out from our government and ISPR.

On the covert front, Afghanistan has nothing to lose given the space its in right now, and comparably, Pakistan is in a more vulnerable situation. And hence the no win situation for Pakistan
Only ChankiyaWe never learnt about terrorism.
Regards.
As I said, its not the capability but the will. Because the possible repercussions of attacking Afghan soil (and I am not counting random, one off stand off attacks using Arty, missiles or rockets) without taking American permission really skews the risk reward ratio of this approach. Its not that we lack the capability to give the Danda, its lack of decision making both political and military. Pakistan did strike in Afghanistan on previous occasions and without any so called danda coming back however its lately that our approach has turned more passive and hence my criticism.
