That assumes all Punjabis share the same politics, don't be ridiculous.

Besides, give it a decade or two after the split, and both sides will develop their own distinct political and social cultures.

Its not about politics ...Its about representation of different ethnics people in federation..They may have different politics but at the end Punjabi will get more share in power and state ...Why undermine pashtun and baloch then..Give them same increase in government jobs and in senate as equal to increase in South Punjab...Everything is not about politics..Its about who is getting what from the state..New province will only increase Punajbis representative everywhere in state corners whatever there politics are...
Again its not about politics are social things..Its about one ethnciity over shadow other in power whoever they support is different talk

We need Q to agree to a coalition with PTI. I’m sure they wouldn’t do it for free. It will cost PTI. It’s a good trade-off.

PTI may not even need Q. the independents have already started approaching PTI to join them. If most of the independents join PTI then PTI will have a very comfortable lead over the noora league. but the nooras are gonna be a strong opposition.

Q has already said that they've won the seats in seat adjustment with PTI. Those seats partially belong to PTI. Q might get a ministry or two but nothing significant.

PPP has nothing to gain by siding with PML. They've already got more than they hoped for. PTI isn't really a direct threat to PPP. At least yet.

If there's someone behind any engineering, it is this. The reunification of MMA and creation of TLP, which in reality dented PTI very much. There are many constituencies where PTI lost by a small margin. Most of the Barelvi vote in Punjab, many of which would have gone to PTI was diverted to TLP.

After what JI did with PTI in the previous Govt,I dont think IK is going to trust them for the forseeable future
