Can the F-16E/F engage 8 targets with BVR missiles at the same time? Or even 6?
Reason I ask is the response from people stating PAF chose not to equip dual-rack pylons for SD-10 on the JF-17 due to its limitation in guiding only 2 at the same time.
Where that reasoning falls to the way side is, do we expect for our jets not to stay on station to engage more than just 1 target? Having four BVR missiles would mean re-engaging another target after the first one or two have been shot down.

Yes you're right but dual- racks also create drag and hence can reduce range combat radius and other critical variables of JF-17 @GriffinsRule
