Nick-named the "Gull Wing" for obvious reasons.

Did you see that beautifully restored Avenger at yesterday's Florida airshow make a ditch in the water due to some malfunction? Oh well, I'm pretty sure pilot was safe he landed in the shallow water just perfectly it looked like the prop was the only visible damage, Of course the salt water penetrating everywhere is a bad thing.


Of course Tom Hardy did a bit of a better job with one of the best looking fighters in the world in the Super Marine Spitfire in "Dunkirk"

Just saw this pic on Donkey's page Fatman thought I would post it not because of the aircraft that it is, but take a look at how they designed the last few meters of the wings, They're twisted. The Jets that carry missiles on wingtip rails put the rails at a downward angle probably because it helps directional slight when shooting them at certain A0A, But this makes for a very interesting design that I bet was not very easy to produce. What think, anyone?
