Junood-e-Khalifa-fil-Hind had company style designations: NIA
NEW DELHI: The National Investigation Agency said members of the Islamic State (IS)-inspired outfit Junood-e-Khalifa-fil-Hind (JKH) that it had chargesheeted on Tuesday had adopted corporate-style designations, the first time that terror groups in the country have defined roles in this manner.

The members belonged to one of the biggest modules of operatives who planned to recruit youths and finance them to join the Abu-Bakr-al-Baghdadi-led group.

According to details accessed by ET, the outfit had corporate-style designations such as Nayed Ameer (deputy), Amir-e-Maliyat (finance), Amir Askray (operations), Amir-e-Raabta (communications in-charge) and Amir-e-Shariyo Dawati (recruitment).

The JKH, also planned to set up branches inMumbai, DELHI, Lucknow, Bengaluru,Chennai and Allahabad among other places, the NIA said.

NEW DELHI: Senior members of Islamic State-inspired Junood-ul-Khalifa Fil Hind (JKH), arrested by the NIA in a countrywide crackdown earlier this year, had planned to establish a wing in Bangladesh.
