Today, two years ago, five member bench disqualified Nawaz Shaitan for his constant lying both on the floor of the parliament and in the court related the Panama leaks. It is a day to remember as it will go down as one of the most significant days in the freedom struggle of Pakistan.
There are many good people who played their role in this change but the main credit goes to Imran Khan & PTI because if it was not for his strong stance, this would also been swept under the rug by the forces of the status quo like Dawn-leaks, NRO, and Nawaz Shaitan's countless anti-Pakistan speeches and actions as the deep state always compromised under pressure from their foreign masters and absence of the local support. However, Imran Khan did not budge, didn't wink for once..He not only forced the very reluctant superior judiciary (i.e. the state) to take up the case but he religiously followed all the proceeding and he worked like a fine Swiss watch..
But it in the hindsight it looks like the SC played games, dilatory tactics.
