Did his wife speak truth that she isn't informed as of yet? I don't see the whole lot as such will speak about information. He has been detained in daylight. When it has to be a disappearance; you wouldn't know the way it happened. Local police station will deny sometimes because, they will have to check with all the agencies before confirmation. He isn't some ordinary guy but a journalist, as they all say. No disappearance as such is possible. His wife must have seen the CCTV similarly Hamid Mir had it quickly.

I dont know if she will speak the truth. I rest my case.

"Why do LEA need to acknowledge", are you serious? Imagine your relative being picked up for whatever reason by the local thana, you go there and they say we dont know. Someone needs to tell his wife they have him, doesnt have to be on TV, doesnt have to be a minister.

call UK Police station and ask them to confirm if they hold someone you know , last time i was there I wasn't informed of it, they failed to accept or deny that they were holding the person, who may or may not be my family member.

They will release a public statement once they have completed their due course of action.

In addition to this, when you calling police station, you need to be sure that you have dialed up correct number. You may be calling your local thana who don't have any clue on operation of Special Branch in the area.
Operations or Investigations department may contact S.B to revert back with the required information but then again it would depend on S.B if they choose to reply back accordingly.

There are many agencies at play, we don't know who picked him up, ATS Police uniform (as seen in CCTV Footage) could be the guards deputed on duty to District Administrator, they could be uniform personnel attached to FIA, they could be uniform personnel attached to Operations or some other unit.

So calm down & take a deep breath. Mati Bhai will be back in no time.

Anyone can wear fake uniform and come in Hilux. I know someone who was kidnapped by terrorists who wore fake police and ATF uniforms. It's a strategy to cause bad emotions against the genuine agencies.

Do you know even as per different laws of different LEA could keep the accused in their custody for different time periods for investigation, secondly there is a permission of 24 hours time given to even local Police to present the accused before magistrate .... so wait for sometime for the statement of LEA dealing with this case ....

Person I know who was kidnapped had fake anti terrorism force uniforms. on their shirt it said aTf in the shape of the ASF (airport security force) logo. It was done by non-state agencies in stolen Hilux and Surf.
