Journalist Haroon Rasheed on PPP Longest Rule/18th Amendment: Pakistan has now become Confederation

Yaar if idiots vote for PPP what the hell do you want "establishment" to do?

Our people are ignorant and rather then take responsibility for their own actions and choices they want to pin the blame on somebody

EVERYONE knows Nawaz is a lanti crook
EVERYONE knows bhuttos and zardaris are lanati crooks

Yet with even this knowledge we have lanats supporting them @FOOLS_NIGHTMARE shed some light on why our people are so ignorant?

What can the establishment do when our own actions and behavior is the cause

The afghans have the same problem, generations of stupidity, beghairati, deshtagardi and they think Punjab and ISI is the cause of their failure's

He is right on Sindh. Sindh is left behind and 18th amendment is the biggest poison for Pakistan. 18th amendment type thing works in countries which have close to perfect democracies and not MAFIAS like PML N and PPP and JUI with them. 18th amendment must go. The part where he really sucks is defence information and which our almost all journalists sucks at.

I agree with everything he said, and with you.

but it think you missed my point. my point was we need to stop being obsessed with the establishment, corruption and such things, discuss them because they are real issues but we get obsessed, there is no proper discussion.

The ppp wasn't installed or backed by anyone, there were elections, they won, but no need to create a fantasy story that there is a secret hand everywhere. People do not realise, but this thinking really damages Pakistan. I know the ppp cheats in elections but that happens all over the world.

Make changes in the law and system, improve it gradually, step by step. That is how other countries have developed, there are no overnight fixes.

Let's have discussions, rather then being obsessed with the same points over n over again.

You have misunderstood my post. I am not at all saying that the Establishment is the sole or only responsible of our ills. Not at all. My proposition is different. We collectively, as a society, are responsible. Ultimately, all institutions of the state, and responsible people therein, including Establishment, political parties, media, judiciary, bureaucracy etc. etc. are the product of the society. They are not from Mars. If the society is rotten, naturally these institutions would also be the same. Mafias, sitting in these institutions, provide support to eachother, in their common interests, with, of course, the public support.

The real question is that how, the society, and, consequently, the institutions of the state, can come out of this vicious cycle.

I have no answer for the aforesaid question.

You have no answer, because there is no answer, because there are no quick fixes. But recognising that it is a societal problem, not an institutional problem is a start. You are among the minority, congratulations for the honest recognition of the problem.

The answer is that no country has improved overnight, it took time and effort. The Europeans and the Americans did not come out of their mothers womb on how to wear a seat belt, how to use a traffic light and so many other things we seem to find impressive. They were taught with public awareness campaigns. over time these things have other unseen benefits, It is always a constant policy, legal and societal effort. That is the only way.

England used to have something called the rotten boroughs, a single person could be a voter in the entire constituency, meaning 1 person would vote for the whole national assembly seat, just 1 person.

England used to have law lord judges sit in the house of lords, that's the Senate, even today church bishops sit in the upper house of parliament, the house of lords. but no one cries about it. The supreme court was established little over 10 years ago, they changed the system, so no judge sits in the house of lords anymore, they did for hundreds of years, but no one cried before or after.

Even now, in American elections, a tied result is decided by a flip of a coin in many states, imagine that happening in Pakistan, people would go crazy. But no one cries about it in America, they just get on with it, when there is enough pressure they will change.

Trump and Bush got elected with minority of the votes, but people accepted because it is legally allowed. Some wants change, but they don't go crying about it all the time.

There are so many such strange examples around the world, everywhere.

Pakistanis just need to stop crying about themselves all the time, and get on with things. Pakistan honestly has a good system in place, it is this constant crying that's making it worse.

When we recognise that it is a societal problem, things will start improving automatically, and gradually.

Very valid points he has raised - starting from 31:30 to 37:53

He is absolutely right....

Sindh province, with on top of it - PPP's Decades/longest Rule since 2007, looks more like Sindh Republic than Sindh Province.

A Different Country with Monarchy/Kingdom of ONE PARTY.

Pakistan is now a CONFEDERATION....

Some serious experienced people who have seen history, all over Pakistan are getting worried over this !!!

This is leading to SindhuDesh straight away...

Despite being close to Pindi....He said in live program that PPP has been given FREE HAND to rule till whenever she wants...

So, media is now frequently mentioning it in live programs, mentioned by even those who are considered very close to establishment.

Zardari knew that he will not form the federal govt again hence he passed the 18th amendment to rule Sindh forever. Now if u say anything to ppp they threaten with sindhudesh.

The fault lies with the establishment when they did not try to stop this. Pakistan is paying a big price. Gen tariq once mentioned in his interview that Pakistani leadership is corrupt and compromised in all institutions.

May be physical elimination of PPP will make things easier but the problem is no one seems to know what to do.

He is right here too. Pee Pee Pee is playing the same role that it played in 1971. Sindh is treated like a personal fiefdom of Zardari family. They are minting money every day and nobody is there to stop them. Establishment is fully backing this corrupt party to loot this country and destroy its biggest city as much it wants to
Zardari is given many many micro NRO's.
Karachi destruction by the hands of racist Sindhi ppp is legendary. Karachi provides 90% of Sindh revenue. PPP Sindhi ruling racist mafia still hell bent upon destroying Karachi and disenfranchise people of Karachi knowing that Karachi is Sindh's gold laying chicken.
Racist Sindhi ppp works hand in hand with jiye sindh affiliated groups.
jiye sindh groups play bad cop and sindhi racist PPP good cop.
It was Zia who hanged Bhutto and people of Karachi paying price to appease sindhis and ppp.
Sure maybe some are forced to vote because of waderahs

What excuse do the millions of others have?
No one can vote against them except some other wadera shahs who have tribal or personal differences with PPP owners.
Instead of weakening the feudal class of Sindh has become much much powerful. All sindh bureaucracy is Sindhi and they work for same agenda.
