The Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) has put its Chinese-made armed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) up for sale, indicating its disappointment with their performance.

The RJAF is looking to sell its CH-4B UAVs a little over a year after it unveiled the type at the SOFEX show held in May 2018. (IHS Markit/Patrick Allen)

In a notice posted on its website on 3 June, the RJAF said it was looking to sell six CH-4B UAVs, a type made by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). The RJAF acquired the type in 2016 along with AR-1 laser-guided missiles and FT-9 guided bombs. The Jordanian aircraft are capable of operating beyond line of sight as they are fitted with satellite communications equipment

This topic has been discussed a week ago ...

Okay, please post the link of that thread and get this one merged into that.

On topic, I think there is an excellent opportunity for pakistan in this deal as they are the traditional buyers of the chinese equipment and also the jordanians will give them good prices.

What do you think @Windjammer?

Jordan is our natural Ally. But who are they to criticize Chinese product??
Who is Jordan to criticize the Chinese drone, without giving a legitimate reason for drone capability?
Countries like Jordan need to think twice about defame a Chinese product! Why because it sits right next to Isreal & is playing lip service to perfectly good product of China.

I think they must have their reasons otherwise they wouldn't have taken the pain to put those drones up for resale. Chinese must really had ripped off the Jordanians.

Jordan has also sold its f16s to Pakistan, They were disappointed with them too ? and then what those f16s did on 27 feb as per your media ?

By the way what happened to Rustam UAV program ? i heard all the test drones crashed and program suffered a significant hit back.

I heard that an African country grounded all the HAL LCA after their repeated failures and crashes.

Also Naval LCA has been given only 6 months to prove its worth or face closure otherwise.

Chinese are dominating in all the fields and soon they will be competing with US and Russia, While India is only importing almost all the weapons.

so trying to prove chinese weapons as junk wont let you any where. focus on your own problems in your country and military,

No they are disappointed with their chinese equipment only. And as for the rest of the things, do not believe the rumours. This thread is not about the Indian systems btw:D

Expected. Airforces do look for western platforms once they have used these.

This is the parallel case to US calling Turkey to dump S400 and buy American, or calling UK and Germany to dump Huawei, or calling India to dump Russia S400 and buy American.

Jordan is a very loyal ally of US beside Israel, any phone call from US is enough.

There is a difference between being forced to not to buy any equipment and using one them reselling them owing to their bad performance. Its same like buying a cheap chinese copy of iphone and then realizing it was crap.

lol. good for them. May be they have advanced US drones offers.
F16 sale to Pakistan is also real and has already been executed.
As far as Pakistan is concerned, Chinese equipment is doing great for us.
