Wrong again. Most of the people killed were Pakinstan trained militants and many foreign fighters pushed in through P 0 K under cover of fire by Pak forces. As to the civilian casulaties, yes they died. Big thing? No! Tings happen and when unrest is provoked in a region without thinking of consequences, then civilians die! You cannot do anything about it. Dont you think your higher authorities thought about civilian casualties and thoroughly miscalculated that those numbers will undo India's pov? In a terrorism gripped region, people die, mostly by terrorists but also by security/COIN forces.
If you were so concerned about Kashmiris, you people should have thought about civilian casualties/deaths before supporting an "armed freedom movement", or was all of that acceptable only to grab Kashmir?

MUMBAI: Government on Wednesday dismissed as baseless reports that Taliban militants are being pushed into Jammu and Kashmir to foment terror, but
said security forces were ready to deal with any situation.

"The reports of Taliban militants being pushed into Jammu and Kashmir are baseless. These are nothing but speculative reports," home minister P Chidambaram told reporters reacting to reports that Pakistan was planning to push as many as 60 "surrendered" Taliban into Jammu and Kashmir to become part of the "jihad" against India.

"Our security forces are vigilant. We are ready to foil any attempt of infiltration," he said.

Media reports said the coming days will pose a challenge as the Taliban attempts to sneak in are expected before the onset of winter. The infiltration is closely controlled and monitored by the ISI and Pakistan army which is often involved in the crossings, the reports said.

The issue had reportedly cropped up as a major security concern during the two-day visit to Srinagar by a high-powered central team led by cabinet secretary K M Chandrasekhar and comprising home secretary G K Pillai, defence secretary Pradeep Kumar and others.

The home minister said the Jammu and Kashmir Police has been doing a good job and the forces were now being readying to take the frontline job of tackling the militants.

There are only two constants in Pak. The Army & the ISI. They call the shots so there is nothing wrong to remain focused on them.
