KARACHI - Terming Gaza, Afghanistan and Karachi as present days Karbala, Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh chief Merajul Huda Siddiqui said on Saturday that over ten thousand innocent people have been killed in the city over the past five years and no individual, organisation and trader was secure here.
Investors were shifting their capital from Karachi to Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and other neighbouring countries because extortionists and target killers here enjoyed government patronage, he said while speaking at a training programme organized by the JI in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area.
The JI leader emphasised on evolving joint strategy for resolving serious issues faced by the nation. Meraj said the youths of Pakistan had to support religious forces like Turkey and Egypt for bringing a change. Revolution is direly needed in Pakistan.
