It's funny, there was a time Geo was the biggest promoter of IK, especially Hamid Mir. One of the few networks and anchor that would defy suggestions and interview him.

He was a refreshing voice on TV aye. I was a diehard IK fan at one time. IMO Geo’s editorial line might have sided with PMLN, just like ARY’s sides with PTI. But I think the criticisms levied by the former against him now are very close to those things he railed against back in the late Musharraf years.

I always said there would have to come a time where he’d fall out with the same army that helped bring him to power. History will repeat itself again, and it looks like it is.
