Hubris?

Hubris is something that American leaders have unfortunately been guilty of ever since the end of the Cold War. China’s leaders are actually extremely grounded and focused on realpolitik and that is how they have engineered China’s incredible rise in the last three decades.

In fact, I’d say that when Chinese leaders start to speak arrogantly, it would be time to get nervous as the actual shift in power has probably already occurred even as the arrogance of Western leaders refuse to recognize it.

Btw I am against the heavy handedness in which Jack ma has been treated.

There is already an USA in the world that makes ordinary people pay everything for the good of capital.For the sake of human freedom, the world also needs a China that keeps capital in a cage.

China does not prevent you from joining the United States.You can die in the Middle East for the benefit of the military-industrial complex.Squeezed out of money in hospitals for the benefit of drug companies.Give up being a human being to slaughter Muslim civilians for oil.
