Russian : cheap, inferior but comparable to American in some way.
Our country almost depend on Russian weapon, but if it's possible we love the arm sale from USA.

incorrect. The J-11s are 700 kg lighter due to use of more composite parts. 700 kg is a *big fking deal* in aircraft.

As I know in order to make an aircraft fly, supercruise, maneuver or dogfight ... it depends much on the engine.

so is reducing the mass of the aircraft by nearly a ton not a big deal..? Because this is the type of redesign that gets you promotions in industry. And the engine situation, even if true, is temporary - what if the engines are fixed or there's imported engines being used? What then? they'll be far superior at that point.

I wonder sometimes when some members claim... chinese jets are far advanced and generation ahead of Russian jets... Ironically they got lot Su-30's and and the jets copied from Russian su-27's... yet they claim J-11D avionics, weapons, Radar packages are generation ahead of Su-35.... just because chinese copied su-27 named as J-11A,B.D... Do they checked How many Su-27 variants are available and what are the major difference between Recent versions.... may be J-11D got goodies than J-11A... but claiming generation leap over the most advance 4++ jets is just silly assumption...
