What are you going on about. She is a philanthropist, in charge, and given the responsibility of a 40 plus billion dollar portfolio to giveaway. She is not a business woman looking to make money by making "rape in India" talking points.

What's with this absurd claim that western media headlines on India are usually about gang rape? - in all honesty, you must widen your reading materials. Image of India is very much vibrant, and warm for us. What kind of childish games are being played here?

My Indian friend, I have edited my previous post to add some things.

A German Professor noted that in Germany, "India Rape" stories make the front page. Whereas stories about local rapes (one that took place down the street from him) are hidden deep in the back sections.

This is easy to check. Just go to BBC, and find a headline about the India Rape topic, it will be on the home page on the same day. Now try to find a story about local rapes. You'll have to go deep into the local sections to find it. Go and try it right now.

This leads to situations like this:

Including "travel warnings" to any of their women who want to travel to India. Travel advisories, travel warnings, etc.

Of course you as an Indian could never think to criticize the West, no matter what. It's expected.

Can you show me a study done on all western media headlines on India, for any year?

BBC is headquartered in London, how many rapes happen in London every single day? Often even just down the road from the BBC headquarters itself? How many make the front page every single day? Why are Indian rape headlines on the front page, while these local rapes that occur down the road from them, hidden in the regional sections?

Easy, because news is driven by sensationalism. That's what sells papers. And they don't have to worry, it's Indian men who are getting the negative stereotype, not them. It's India that is the target of global travel warnings for women, not them.

how about a women being watched by four men while she is being raped and record all the details and if even one of the jury says that she was cooperating then it is not rape, it is extra marital affair,she will be stonned or beheaded, for illicit affair, rapes are being reported because women nowadays shows courage and strong wilingness, same cant be said about pakistan or other gulf countries where women live in fear of their men(excluding the elite punjabis),
