It Was Beef, Says A New Lab Report In Major Twist To Dadri Lynching

.
Why don't they conduct awareness camps if that state set beef ban.. start a debate ... instead of killing everyone in the name of beef??

Majority in India believe in rationality, logical reasoning and education.

We don't dictate minorities. The minorities (200 million really a minority?) are dictated by the Holy Quran and bible respectively.

Majority was fool to not know that minorities way of life's are dictated by texts and fables which are outside India and not in sync with majority and India.

Majority is just taking precaution against these imperialist texts which govern minorities.

Well said.

However protection of cow is not only against a particular religious text, it is in continuation with hindu religious texts .

. . .
The whole majority? Acting as one, marching in lock-step? Rationality, as in ministers of the central cabinet teaching the Wadia Institute professors of geology that the Uttarakhand floods were the result of people shitting on holy ground? Or should we talk about the logical reasoning that gives us a head transplant to explain Ganesh' elephant's head? Perhaps it is education, with a school drop-out Sanghi zombie heading up the ministry that is our pride and joy?

You are so full of shit that we just need to lead you out into the fields and stick a pin in you to solve the organic fertiliser shortage. Even for a bhakt, you are in a class of your own.

AND we can prove it. No eating what we don't want them to eat; no marrying our women; no conversions, or you are missionary tikka, and your three-year old kids with you; no being caught within a hundred miles of any kind of explosion; no....OK, let's review that last one, it's too tough. Too tough to let off some stupid minority idiot just because he wasn't around when the explosion happened.

It's difficult to go on. You are sickening.

Wow! You are an extremely myopic, crass of a person, goony and absolutely anti-human to the core.

Hope your children did not inherit anything like this from you. May God save them.

The minority problem is not majority created.

It was created by outsiders when the locals did not possess any power themselves.

The partition was absolutely arbitrary and ad hoc in nature without any consultation or taking the majority in confidence.

The architect of the Constitution Dr. B. R. Ambedkar said is quoted below for ease of reference:

That the transfer of minorities is the only lasting remedy for communal peace is beyond doubt. If that is so, there is no reason why the Hindus and the Muslims should keep on trading in safeguards which have proved so unsafe. If small countries, with limited resources like Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria, were capable of such an undertaking, there is no reason to suppose that what they did cannot be accomplished by Indians. After all, the population involved is inconsiderable and because some obstacles require to be removed, it would be the height of folly to give up so sure a way to communal peace.

While in Islamic republic of Pakistan and unofficially Islamic republic of Bangladesh, Minorities ala your majority perished. While your imagined threatened minorities in our own land are sitting on our head with their imperialistic agenda which is absolutely evident from their loyalty lives outside Indian borders except Syrian Christians of Kerala.

This is not our problem. Today we have the power, we are rectifying the mistakes which should not have happened in the first place. Hell fell on us.

And please stop with this intellectual snobbery.

If you think you are the Dada, don't forget even your Baaps are also there.

Dude, you could have asked the same question without the obligatory insults!

here read this - it tells you why diversity in society is a good thing.

Besides just look across the border to see what happens when you squeeze diversity out.

Not so simple.

Both has its pros and cons. Moderation is the key. Gautam Buddha's middle path can help.

I am not discounting what you state - of course there is truth to it. But let's also look at Japan for instance. Or even Germany. There are other similar examples. Homogeneous yet smart.

On the other hand there are countries like the erstwhile Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Diverse. Not to smart.

So things are not so black and white as you state. There is merit to both being diverse or otherwise.

This argument is actually false. Pakistan unmistakably became a stabler nation when the Hindu population was driven out. If you look very objectively and leave aside the moral and ethical questions, see the genesis of Bangladesh - a part of the unrest was actually caused because of the substantial number of Hindus residing in it.

In fact there are other countries that have killed diversity and flourished. PR China is the best example ('best' is in terms of economy, social security, not ethics). Other countries are Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Rumania etc. Reasonably successful I would say. And there are countries that perished - Uganda, Iraq, etc.

I will have to come back to this as I have to close my computer in a minute but here is a quick walkabout of what I want to say:

Diversity is not only about bringing different perspectives to the table. Simply adding social diversity to a group makes people believe that differences of perspective might exist among them and that belief makes people change their behavior.

It is very hard to make diversity work . as you rightly point out, countries have broken up because they could not make it work. But when it does work, it makes for a remarkably strong society.

An example - why do you think Indian diplomacy is so effective? We are the only country that traded with a sanctioned Iran. Our PM gets awards from Saudi and defence equipment from Israel. We work with US and we love Russia....I say we make it work because of the diversity of our country. We know that people have different perspectives and we can deal with it . We send Muslim diplomats to Saudi, Wharton educated to Australia. We communicate in a way they understand and adjust to their perspective. Contrast that with a non diverse country at the same level of education and development....the difference is huge.

This diversity is also going to help as our business venture abroad, we know how to deal with people different to us. We know how to negotiate with those who see the world in a different way.

If India can make diversity work it will be a huge strength. If we allow these politicians to take us for a ride as they are doing it will be the worse for us.

First of all, Indian diplomacy is not very effective. :D

Only in the recent past have we been ... rather more successful. Since 2002 onward...

Countries like Norway, Sweden do fine as well. With both SA and Israel for that matter! Understanding depends on the training of the diplomats. Here of course, the background helps - but it may not be in the best interest of a country in the long run. In any case, foreign relations is a very complex scenario and the defense of diversity should ideally be centered on the internal stability of a nation - not on how diplomacy scores.

There was a cliched statement here that is repeated so many times that it has set itself in stone - 'Unity in Diversity'. This, to me, is among the most ridiculous paradoxes one can come across. There is Unity in Unity. And Diversity in diversity.

I will give you an example. India is considered diverse, but consider this - are there multiple nationalities, cultures, and people in it? When compared to Yugoslavia? Or Europe?
Of course not. Even the most chauvinistic Bihari will not consider a man from Odisha of a different nationality. Of course, he may be unaware of the existence of Nagaland for instance, but that is due to ignorance. But in general perception, the idea of a desh (slightly different from nation) is fairly broad. There is a general thread, that connects a gentle fisherman from Rameshwaram to a driver in Jammu for instance. They may have different languages, different names, but the traditional dresses have similarities, the spices they use have similarities, the Gods may have different names but all trace back to the same origins. Any Indian knowing more than one regional language will know what I am talking about. The apparent superficial differences are largely on the surface - skin deep. The unity runs far deeper - even reaching inexplicable levels - where there is no logic. If we want unity among all people, the focus should be on strengthening this inner sense of belonging to one another - this little known, little explored but binding thread that connects our nation.

Diversity, is desirable to the point where mutually cooperative people work things out. Introduce a belligerent group that does not believe in playing by the established social order of the land - and the structure may collapse.

Amazing thing is even hard core criminals may feel bad for their doings at some point.... But some guys have no shame, no respect on another human life .. here what we are seeing, some people arguing to lodge case against victim.. just because some suspicious report came suddenly .... and which it was found outside dustbin... may be the criminals who planned to attack Victim may put those beef in it...
