Israel's leader Binyamin Netanyahu has claimed relations with the Arab world are at their strongest in Israel's history as he promotes improved international relations under his watch.

Israel's prime minister says the country is enjoying its greatest relations ever with the Arab world, even without a peace accord with the Palestinians.

Binyamin Netanyahu addressed Foreign Ministry personnel on Wednesday ahead of the Jewish new year, saying the extent of relations has yet to fully be made public.

He said their scope was greater than "any other period in Israeli history".
Israel has peace agreements with Egypt and Jordan. In recent years it has grown closer to Sunni nations over shared concern about Iran's growing influence in the region.

Last week, the Israeli embassy in Cairo resumed some services after some diplomatic staff returned to Egypt following an eight month closure.

Jordan's relations with Israel were strained in July, however, after an embassy guard in Amman shot dead two Jordanians.

Protests followed demanding the closure of the embassy.

Saudi Arabia and other Arab nations are hesitant to normalise ties before a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

US President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner has been charged with helping to restart Israeli-Palestinians negotiations which have been frozen since talks collapsed in 2014, but has so far made little progress.

Netanyahu has been promoting Israel's improved international relations under his watch. Next week he makes a first visit to South America.

. . . . .
Good for peace
Bad for war mongers
When you know nothing about peace and it's fundamentals Siddy! better to stay at least silent!

No one has attacked Israel and at every single war with them, they were the first who started the war and waged war against Gaza, Lebanon, Syria ad Egypt.

Only an idiot can think that there is a way for peace with them. They have come to conquer with USA's aid and no one can stop them except for us.

And this is what they want :

Don't quote me man! you are hilarious :sarcastic:. I learn/get nothing from your bullshits.

Have fun
He is not talking about ordinary citizens, in that case you are right.

He is talking about kingdoms and why not? They are together attacking Yemen.

An inflated title of the article..nothing new.. we all know that Usrael is craving to normalise its relationships with the Arabs _mostly the Gulf ones_, but to no avail, till it accepts UN resolutions and the two state agreement, where Palestinians will get a land of their own, not on Usraeli terms.. the rest is well known.. Egypt and Jordan have "normalized" relations wit Usrael ..that is a joke, it is more like a hot line to talk if anything goes hot..

I prefer to think of Netanyahu's statement as a measure of how bad Israel's relations with Arab countries were in the past, rather than how good they are now. After all, in 1947 Arab political leaders vowed to eliminate the Jewish State and many of the Jews' Arab neighbors in Palestine engaged in a spirited campaign seeking the eliminate the Jews entirely. Nowadays Israel has a firm peace treaty with two of its neighbors, two others have no current interest in pursuing war against Israel, and Israel is even building a medical school in Jordan and establishing more open trade relations with other Arab countries. Relations with the Palestinian Arab political leadership are poor, but that's still an improvement from the low-level of the 1940s, though not so good as after the 1967 liberation of the West Bank, or the early days after Oslo, when Israelis and Palestinian Arabs alike fooled themselves into thinking Arafat had changed goals, not just tactics.
