Image shows 16-year-old Palestinian Layth Abu Naeem who was shot and killed by Israeli forces on January 30, 2018.
Israeli forces have shot and killed a 16-year-old Palestinian boy in the occupied West Bank in a village north of Ramallah.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, Layth Abu Naeem was shot in the head at close range by Israeli troops who had entered his village of al-Mugheir.

He died en route to a hospital in Ramallah.

“The soldiers killed him from a short range. They could have arrested him; they could have injured him; they could have shot his leg,” said his uncle. “But the soldier meant to kill him. The bullet went through his eye and through the back of his head."

The Israeli military regularly opens fatal fire on Palestinians, accusing them of attempting to carry out stabbing attacks against its forces.

Human rights groups have repeatedly criticized the Tel Aviv regime for its policy of shoot-to-kill as a large number of the Palestinians killed at the scene of attacks did not pose serious threats to Israelis.

‘Israel has killed 3 Palestinian minors so far this year’

The Palestinian Information Ministry says Israeli forces have killed three Palestinian minors and detained 52 others since the start of this year.

The number of Israeli attacks have sharply risen since the US President Donald Trump, on December 6, 2017, announced his decision to recognize Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel’s capital and relocate the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to the occupied city.

The dramatic shift in Washington’s policy vis-à-vis the city triggered demonstrations in the occupied Palestinian territories, Iran, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia, Algeria, Iraq, Morocco and other Muslim countries

Good to see the Arab states coming out with unity and voice against the Zionists... oh wait...

.
Israelis are getting away with murder under the watch of the Arabs.

The AP report is that the Israelis reported coming under attack by "dozens" of Palestinians wielding not only rocks but burning tires and that they responded with "“riot dispersal means" - usually tear gas and stun grenades" and that the Israeli military is investigating.

As has become usual lately Palestinian Arab videos of the incident are not available (despite the likely presence of many cameras as seen in many previous demos) and the cause of death is not subject to independent investigation because the family or P.A. won't permit it.

Was it a Pallywood scene? Was the victim an intentional sacrifice, killed by his own side, as appears to have been the case with a wheelchair-bound man two months ago?

Evidence exculpating either side is not available, at least not yet, so these are the sort of slurs on Israelis/Palestinians that have to be taken by word for now. Or do they? Take another look at the photo:

Is this what the head of a person shot "at short range" through the eye looks like?

@Solomon2

You know very well newsreporters need always to dramatize situation...

Same as in France about the jewish boy who have been attacked. We don't know who are the real attackers, and all politicians are talking about creating new laws to protect jewishes.

Maybe it's a fake attacks as it happened in the past.

It was a direct quote from the boy's uncle. Not something a reporter is likely to make up.

I can't make up my mind: did the boy die and the uncle is trying to send a message about terrorist oppression by an account so at odds with the evidence, or is this another episode of "Pallywood" as suggested by the smile on the boy's face?

they blame us on everything.
i think this sad case is one of them.
i dont see in his head nothing.

More information, thanks to Ian at EoZ: the pic isn't of Layth but was recycled from the funeral of "Amir Abdul-Hamid Abu Mosaed, killed January 12, 2018".

Goes to show what kind of outfit Press TV is, I suppose.

Well there was a killing. But you are focusing on the pic which happened to be the pic of another boy killed.

So the"direct quote" is still valid... Contrary to what you want us to believe....

Naturally. Didn't you do the same?

I'm the one who emphasized the probable validity of the direct quote, remember?

Pakistanis in general do not acknowledge the right of Jews to use deadly force in self-defense against attackers calling themselves Muslims. Regardless of laws, regardless of treaties, what appears to matter is the exercise of Muslim will upon non-Muslims or not-so-true Muslims. Hence the breakdown of law and order and the rise of militancy (if only in self-defense) in Pakistani society. And it all seems to have followed from Indian Muslim political leaders' rejection, over a century ago - before even the Balfour Declaration - of the right of Jews to peacefully return and re-settle in their ancient homeland.

No i was focusing on the direct quote..
By questioning the eye injuries non present on the pic you seem to questioning the validity of the killing. At least i understood it in this way (my English is not as good as your).

I told in my first message that there maybe a dramatisation on the quote...
I was asking because you said it was a direct quote, and you were also wrong as the pic was not of that boy...

Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

Sane minds are aware that Israeli supported terrorists are doing the same with Syrians. If we want these horrible disasters end, we need to destroy Israel. That's the start of stabilizing Islamic world
