The IDF launched a surprise drill near the Gaza Strip on Sunday. The day-long exercise is designed to increase the readiness of military forces in the area, and is a part of a series of training activities that occur throughout the year, the army added.

Soldiers found the bomb hidden on the Gazan side of the electronic border fence and made it safe. There were no injuries in the incident.

Israeli army launches surprise drill. Now let's read what occurred. The soldiers 'found' hidden bomb on Gazan side of fence. What they mean is they launched an incursion into Gaza with special forces breaking the cease fire. They went in to disable homemade mines that prevent Israeli armor from invasion route. This is a violation of cease fire. If Hamas sent fighters to disable Israeli mine belts, Israel will go crazy bomb Gaza and call on international community to condemn Hamas and support a war on Gaza.

Other way around, nobody complains nor does it get any attention.

Now, why am I creating this thread? Because a VERY POSSIBLE SCENARIO is that Israeli forces will attempt these secretive incursions once again in future. However, if Palestinian deployed forces recognize their illegal violations of cease fire and fire at the invading forces, it may lead to casualties. And we must hold Israel responsible for any escalation.

Both sides instigate stuff whenever it is to their benefit. I used to care a lot about Palestine and what they are going through but, over time, its become clear to me that the leadership on both sides will continue this conflict for as long as possible because it keeps the money flowing in.

Sadly, the only ones dieing will be the everyday people who want nothing more than to achieve peace and go on with their daily lives.

You don't need to care about Palestine. As far as facts go though, no that isn't true. We never once instigated a single escalation in Gaza. All the facts point to this, whether you look at 2006, 2008, 2012 or 2014. In 2006, Israel launched an attack in the summer killing family of 8, besides the family of 19 in Beit Hanoun prior to that. Only after that did Palestinians launch a response and Israel attacked Gaza. Most people don't remember that because Israel also attacked Lebanon right around that time. In 2008, after Hamas was elected it installed siege and was reguraly launching incursions/shelling killing Palestinians. It had no interest in any agreement proposed by the UN to bring ease siege on Gaza and instead choose to launch war. Same in 2012, in March of 2012 they launched completely unprovoked assassination of Zuhair Al Qassi. This lead to an escalation.

Later in November, there was calm until they launched border incursion. During this border incursion a gun fight erupted. A Palestinian child was killed from Israeli helicopter fire. This is all documented, the next day Palestinians responded by targeting Israeli soldiers. None of the Israeli soldiers were killed, nevertheless they launched indiscriminate shells killing 5 civilians at least. If I remember correctly it may have been even 8. This left Hamas with no choice but to respond, it did. And cease fire was mediated by Egypt later that night. So all that violence which was provoked by Israel ended. Palestinian military commander went to confirm long term truce with Egypt. As he left his home, an Israeli drone strike murdered him and the driver. On top of that 25 other air sorties killed 8 civilians in same period of few minutes. Obviously these are the only pyschopaths interested in violence since they get away with it physically and diplomatically. The commander was Ahmed Al Jaabari that was killed. This isn't about money, only Israel has something to gain. Palestinians on other hand don't, besides reaching out to world to recognize our cause. At the end of the Israeli assault in 2014, donors pledged money for reconstructing Gaza. All this is money is control of an IDF general, UN, and PA. They manage and distribute it. Hamas recieved nothing from it. So the notion that we resist for money is false and rejected. Not just that, but any person with a brain can realize money flow will not occur under siege. Gaza doesn't need money handouts, this doesn't help our economy, small amounts can't change anything. Removal of siege, importing, exporting will facitilate economic growth immediately. Gaza can be independent if there wasn't an occuyping regional power choking it. Same goes for West Bank.

........

Don't let Jewish propaganda(Newsweek, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, New York times, CNN, etc...) confuse you. They use so much propaganda in their articles to portray Palestinians as aggressors. They have misleading headlines and completely vague representation of conflict. I've seen one article where they described the Israeli war waged on Gaza in 2014 as 'Hamas tried fighting Israel, Israel defeated Hamas', ie no mention of who actually waged illegal war nor mention of 1,535 civilians killed in conflict. Let alone massive destruction imposed which left many displaced. That kind of propaganda is very dangerous and worse than Nazi propaganda. That propaganda will end in same Nazi propaganda did.
