Can you share the link by BBC claiming India actually carried out a surgical strike? Or was it an opinion based on Indian claims? Pak invited various foreign news outlets to the region to share their side of the story, India didn't show a shred of evidence of their actual operation rather they changed their story continuously. from guardian, to washington post, to new work times every single article here in the west laughed at indian claims and asked for the indian government to realise proof to validate their claims. the news teams were flown into these 5 so called areas which were attacked by the indians and not one single journalist found a shell or marks of bullets. there were allowed to question the local community as well

Because no surgical strikes occurred! Even when the US carried out their raid one of their survailance aircrafts crashed landed. How is India able to come into Pak territory and able to carry out a strike without sustaining any casualty of their own when the entire region is heavily militarily fortified?
