By Khaama Press - Sat Apr 29 2017, 11:04 am

A senior leader of the Taliban group has been shot dead by unknown gunmen near Peshawar city of Pakistan, it has been reported.

The senior Taliban leader, Mawlavi Daud, was killed near Shamshato refugee camp on Friday.

Taliban sources quoted by Pakistan’s Daily Times newspaper have said Mawlavi Daud, the former Taliban governor of Kabul, was killed as he travelling in the area.

The sources have further added that the driver of Mawlavi Daud was also killed in the attack.

No group or individual has so far claimed responsibility behind the killing of Mawlavi Daud so far.

This is not the first time a senior leader of the Taliban group has been killed by gunmen in Pakistan.

A senior leader of the Taliban group identified as Qari Syed Murad was killed in a similar attack in Pesawar city of Pakistan last year.

Qari Murad was a member of the military commission of the Taliban group for eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.

Earlier, another senior leader of the Taliban group Mawlavi Alam was shot dead by unknown gunmen near Quetta city of Pakistan.

Mawlawi Alam was a senior leader of the Taliban group and was a loyal commander to the Taliban supreme leader Mullah Akhtar Mansoor.

Irefutable proof of pakistani armys hand in formenting terrorism in afghanistan.
All afghans can enter Pakistan given they have no weapons. We can send them back but UN won't like it. He must have entered here as a refugee. ISIS have even entered euorope using this technique. But ehsan ullah ehsan was using NDS given papers.

Proof of freedom afghan taliban has in getting logistical support in pakistan.
Afghan govt should raise this in UN.
Sure, becuse all opium grown in Afghanistan which worths around 10 billion, that hard cash is enough for talibs to gather logistical support from any neighbour country.
First eliminate opium Talibs are gone.
Anyways on topic looks like an targeted elimination by NDS operatives.
Never, that will get a reaction of same magnitude.

Taliban Sources tell he was killed by NDS. He was being detained in Pakistan. He came to Pakistan as a refugee and was detained by Pakistan authorities and was released on the request of former Afghan president Karzi in a peace process.

Afghanistan should call all their refugees back from Pakistan this will helpful for them as it will be easy to kill the rival Talibans inside Afghanistan & as per their claim sanctuaries for Taliban inside Pakistan will also be ended .... It would also be helpful for us as it will release us from the unnecessary social, political & economical burden of Afghan Refugees ....

No the question needs to be asked how these entered Pakistan and if Pakistan is trying to implement border control and sealing border then why Afghanistan is opposing the same ... seems like Afghanistan was terrorist to keep moving freely to Pakistan so that they can blame Pakistan for the mess created by them ...
