As deployment of army personnel in the federal capital just kicked off following government orders of imposition of Ar
ticle-245 of the Constitution, leaders of different political parties strongly denounced the government’s move, ARY News reported Friday.

PTI leader Shireen Mazari said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif wanted to hide behind the army, however the final decision will be made in Islamabad, she added.

“We will expose in Islamabad march the rigging backed by political leaders,” said the PTI leader.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi of the PTI said the deployment of army in Islamabad was in contravention of the Constitution.

PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said the decision to impose Article-245 in the federal capital was beyond comprehension. He also termed the move against the Constitution.

Spokesman Pakistan Awami Tehreek Qazi Faiz said leaders at the helm of affairs should be tried under Article-6 for violating the Constitution.

“What kind of dialogues to hold with the killers,” he asked, adding the revolution is now inevitable.

Liaquat Baloch of the Jamaat-e-Islami said PM Nawaz Sharif had no right to use army for oppression against any one.

I havent been to Pakistan since 2009.

But can I get some clarification?

If Politicians get pissed off at each other they call for a "Long March".

Which:
1. Disrupts transportation, as shipping containers are place everywhere for whatever reason.
2. The 'Masses' gather and disrupt local towns and cities.
3. Productivity goes down.
4. Riots ensue.
5. Idiots burn down banks, shops, cars, etc.
6. Economy goes down.
7. Repeat.

Ganjey teri masti khatam nhe hogi. Our Army will never shoot normal people attending jalsas or dharnas. Its Pak Army no Gullu butt brigade. If something goes bad army will do nothing, infact they might support the mob to take you out of the Government. So ganjey keep the army away from your political matters.

May be to curb the "can happen" type of scenarios that you have mentioned above.
But let me add another dimension to this list.
The operation Zarb.e.Azb got started just before Ramadan and during Ramadan the militant groups ,those who fled and those who stayed here in Pakistan, had a sort of consensus that there will not be a retaliation of any kind during the holy month.They call themselves the "True Muslims" , you know,so it was expected.But much to their dismay the army has already dismantled most of their networking capabilities during this time.

Now as with the Post-Eid scenario the GoP saw August looming overhead, with an expected mass movement of that much amount of people towards the capital.I figure that they just made sure that if their local law enforcing authorities fail (which we can expect to happen) with an attention divided that much and a lack of expertise to such an extent,there is someone at the back to make sure that the "someone" doesn't take a cheap shot at the people(who are protesting for their own reasons) or any of the working civilian/ military infrastructure.

A bit of salt is good for taste.And there should be reasons for the GoP and the military to make it palatable ,for them both.Now we can go back and see it as if it's unifocal.
