Not really, i don't think we will invade Syria more than it is already. Russia, U.K, U.S and of course France are already involved in targeting what they consider to be threats to their nations/interests. Launching a full scale ground invasion,will only make these terrorists to temporarily move out to another country(maybe Iraq), and they will keep launching guerrilla attacks(sometimes supported by neighboring countries as well, like in Iraq). So the best way is for intelligence services t be more vigilant,increase their efforts in infiltrating these terror cells, target their source of radicalization(which is most often through places of worship, internet, videos/online etc), and establish proper screening mechanism for immigrants. I'm sure that with these attacks many things will change in France and even Europe and the liberals/leftist will find it difficult to stop such measures from being implemented.

The Isis militant group has released a new video threatening to launch attacks in Russia “very soon”.

Issued by the group’s foreign language propaganda wing, the al-Hayat Media Centre, the video combined footage of the Charlie Hebdo shootings and graphic depictions of executions with a threat that “soon, very soon, the blood will spill like an ocean”.

It was issued on Thursday afternoon in an apparent bid to distract international attention from the significant losses it was suffering on the battlefield in Iraq.

Subtitles on the video described Russia as “dying”.

“The kafir throats will tremble from the knives. The Kremlin will be ours,” it said.

Isis released a video in the midst of the Sinjar offensive threatening attacks in Russia 'soon'
Isis has emerged as the prime suspect in the bombing of a Russian passenger airliner which crashed in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula on 31 October, killing all 224 people on board.

And Russian officials also suspect Isis was planning to bomb the village of Kantyshevo, south-west Russia, in a plot which was uncovered last week by special forces.

Isis has previously called for attacks on Russia and the US in response to coalition air strikes on its fighters in Syria and Iraq.

On Wednesday night, US-led coalition fighter jets provided air support to around 7,500 Kurdish and Yazidi fighters launching a major offensive to retake the key town of Sinjar.

As of Thursday afternoon, Kurdish military officials said they had captured three villages outside the town and seized portions of Highway 47, cutting off a major supply route between Isis’s strongholds of Mosul in Iraq and Raqqa in Syria.

“The ground assault began in the early morning hours of Nov. 12, when peshmerga units successfully established blocking positions along Highway 47 and began clearing Sinjar,” said the coalition in a statement.

ahahahahahahah.........yes U.S is to blame for all the world's issue/problem. Even the reason you Hong Kongers(or whatever they call them. lol) often protests against their'brothers' from the mainland visiting/shopping/'buying up' Hong Kong, the U.S is also to blame for brainwashing your people.

That's a big IF as you said. It wont be easy to sterilize Iraq or Syria for that matter, moreover as i said, even if we were to launch a full scale ground invasion of Syria to tackle these extremists groups, they will simply start using guerrilla attacks and will probably start receiving support from neighboring countries who are sympathetic to their cause of fighting infidels in 'holy Muslim lands'. Remember Iraqi Invasion of 2003 and Iran/Assad openly supporting these same terrorists groups against American/British forces(terrorists who are now killing Assad/Iranian soldiers by the thousands. lol Another Karma), i'm not even talking about the number of young Muslim sympathizers all over the world who will be inspired even more by ISIS propaganda to come to Syria and fight against infidel invaders and wage a holy war/jihad against infidels. In short, it will only make things worse to be honest.

You are right that it will be good for the world 4 major powers involved i.e U.S,Russia, U.K, and France to come to an understanding and join forces to target at least those groups who pose a threat to each of their interests. However, i'm a realists so i know that wont really happen, as geo-politics is always more complex than simple wishful thinking/dreams. lol So i expect each power US/U.K/France on one side to keep targeting their own threats in both Iraq and Syria independently while Russia on one side does the same on its own.
