Its been, 11 year since we entered the so called "War on terror". Pakistan has since faced a lost decade and 40,000 dead including 5000 or so fallen soldiers. Amongst, the chaos the bloodshed, uncertainty, violence, corruption, smoke, fire, bombs, bullets and suicide bombers an organization stood as Vanguard of our security. Limiting the damage, finding the enemies of Pakistan, preventing many catastrophe's that majority of us cant even conceive.
This, particular organization has a history, a reputation and a stature for what it does best - protect Pakistan's national interests and hunt down its enemies. It too has suffered around 300 to 400 of its men which is a very high casualty rate, for anytime. It, doesn't want to be thanked for what it did for Pakistan and its citizen's safety in last decade and beyond, it takes criticism, discouragement but does its work the best way it can for us and for our fellow Pakistanis. We may or may not like everything it does but the fact remains that its service to Pakistan will be remembered in the brightest terms when it comes to security and counter terrorism.
Its, time for us to pay respect for its fallen soldiers who didn't want repute, recognition, medals, facebook tribute groups, tales of their bravery, courage and valor to be taught in the school books, they don't want to be named and never wanted to be thanked, such level of selfless national service deserves the deepest of respects.
Salute to the fallen ISI soldiers, whoever you are -may your souls rest in peace and may your sacrifices bring the eternal peace you wanted to bring to our beloved homeland.
Regards
