You know, the only thing funny is how many people have taken this article at face value. The article is a piece of satire & a disclaimer saying the same is part of the article.Such a lot of gullible people.:lol:

Given the history of Indian Government and Indians themselves blaming everything on ISI from Kashmir riots to Kashmir war to Mumbai Attacks......i will NOT be surprised if Indians came out with claims that bridge collapse was hatched by ISI.

lol well it is a funny headline, probably as funny as Pakistan claiming India is behind the flooding in Pakistan.

The only difference though is that Pakistani ministers actually said that and it was being discussed in Pakistani media while this is a satire that afterall came from an anti-India news portal

Men stand in front of a collapsed pedestrian bridge outside the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi September 21, 2010. The parlous state of athletes' accommodation for next month's Commonwealth Games in Delhi has shocked visiting teams and prompted the Games federation chief to demand authorities urgently fix a raft of problems. Complaints from team officials ranging from cleanliness to Internet access at the athletes' village have further embarrassed organisers of the Oct. 3-14 Games, amid blown construction deadlines, corruption scandals and security concerns following a tourist shooting on Sunday.

Sorry to say: what a disaster!

India should hire Chinese engineers and workers to build the bridge, seriously.

At least they can flood your market with cheap, low quality products that are warmly embraced by your mass, but never in this mess.

What? Balco chimney collaps?
...The project was designed by Chinese company SEPCO which outsourced the construction work to Delhi-based Gannon Dunkerley Company Ltd.

Attacks on the forum aside,

This is a sad day for India as a whole nation. Anyone living in Delhi, or where the games are being held?

What is your opinion on the level of infrastructure?

Wait and you will see it being discussed in your media too..lol

Why is it a Sad Day, That is yet to come ......

Yeah from Delhi for last few days in S'pore. Noone can comment from outside as the village area is newly constructed and not open to public. From outside all izz well, but inside how can we say wat was found floating in the toilets and which tubes were leaking.

I think (and hope) that we will pull it off with some desi jugaads. Teams are willing to accomodate for mismanagement in general, if we can act atleast in the 11th hour - it can just be sufficient.

Actually, India as a nation is status quoist... We wait till the very last moment to get things done and would still not do it if not pushed...

Delhi Metro was probably an exception which we acknowledged as rule.

Anyway lots of negativity in media.

Those of the Pakistanis on this website who are bashing Indian on their CWG, especially Jana on your article, How many times did we have the prestige to host an olmypic event like this. At least Indian had worked really hard to be able to host this CWG events. Do not forget, that some of our Pakistani teams are going there too. If their Bridge had collapsed, we should not be laughing at them but we should give them moral support.

The point of this whole forum is not mainly for both Pakistanis and Indians to share their views on a certain matter, but also to integrate as one and help each other during times of trouble. Have you seen Indians laughing at us when we were experiencing floods? There were even Indians who actually donated to flood relief and I am proud of them. Even though they did laugh at us when there were speculations of JF-17 engines being blocked.

Back to the point. In my opinion, I doubt the CWG will be a real failure. There shold be sucess, for example infrastucture developed in Delhi, and would also change the opinion on how other countries view India as. You guys should tigthen security as much as possible, to prevent terrorism, especially in time when the Kashmir protests heatening up.

I wish you guys the best of luck, and I hope we as Pakistanis will be able to host an event this prestigious

Hi, I can tell you that security is tight since last 2 months and getting tighter with every passing day.

Infrastructure is good... problem is corruption and latency...

On top of that our own media is not leaving a single stone unturned to defame these games and authorities involved in it. by this they end up at slandering India. :hitwall::hitwall:

Especially for highly respected Jana...

How many International events have been organized by Pakistan in past decade?

last which I can recall is the SriLankan tour (cricket) which was foiled by RAW, MoSSAD, CIA :blah: :blah: :blah:

@gpit

Why not US specialists? we are ready to pay high...

Why Commonwealth Games Federation president Mike Fennell was sleeping till now?
His team (which he has appointed last year) was continuously inspecting the preparations, why they haven't raised a flag?

because till few days back every thing was fine for them...

For those who are crying security-2.... being a Delhite I do know the ground realities. there is unbelievable improvement in security and work/attitude of Delhi Police.

if it is so... then great counter attack by ISI.. lolz as RAW attacked Sirilankan team in Pakistan...

India is not Taliban ruled Pakistan (nearly half the country ruled by taliban)

:what:

spoken like a true troll garbed in saffron colours.....actually, naxal-affected areas of india (in terms of land-size) is how many Pakistans???

at-least foreign teams are arriving in India, un-like pakistan .
before criticizing India remember cricket world cup was shifted out of pakistan.

and shifted to UAE with Pakistan having much control over the arrangements; temporary until things improve at home

the attack against Sri Lanka, was the last straw; and we all know who was to gain from that number

and your player are playing pakistan match s (match s which as to be conducted in pakistan) are in neutral venue . i cant see no cricket team will arrive in pakistan for decades.

is that what your astrologist told you?:rofl:

same one who said Pakistan would break up in a decade, right? :woot:

we are not barbarians like you, make foreign live in sh.t hotels.
your venom of words make no differences to India.
