Right now , I am watching rangana herath bowling exceptionally well ..just checked his age..he is 39 years old..another legend roger federer will be playing in the wimbledon finals today at the age of nearly 36 years..
Yesterday venus williams lost her wimbledon final at the age of 37 years..serena williams is still no4 in world ranking at the of 36... Misbah ul haq who got retired recently was almost 43 years when he got retired.
Back when I was a kid a cricketer was supposed to retire by 35 and a tennis star by 30 (andre agassi was an exception)...we used to call players of 35 years as old and even heroes who were above 40 were considered old.
Shahrukh ,salman and aamir khan who are super stars of india are nearly 55 years old.
I am 35 years old and my parents still see me as a kid.. even people and society around me treats me like a young man..I watch people of my age around me and compare them with the same age group men of around 20 years ago..my father ,my uncles used to behave in a much mature way when they were my age..my grand parents didnt treat my father as a kid when he was 35...my father must have seen himself as a middle aged man in those days(and even the society) ..I sometimes wonder how times changed...I definitely feel we became more healthy when compared to the generations that are gone by.
PS: compare the photos of your parents when they were in 30s with those of yours and you will notice you look much younger than them at the same age.
