PAF would need either block 70 with advance AIM120C9

The problem is though the PAF is very satisfied with the performance of their JF-17 while the IAF is trying to avoid having the LCA shoved down its throat. That's the difference. Both fighters obviously use a bunch of foreign subsystems but one is clearly more successful than the other. If you disagree with the 58% claim, please provide a source to counter it.

You don't have many options outside JFT, it's not like you can go out and starts shopping for J-10, F16, or Gripen in large numbers. IAF can easily evaluate other systems for procurement. JFT & Tejas are good stop-gap and good for our industries although it's in a nascent stage. You claimed you build 58% of jet but it's the airframe, although it's still an achievement, not much significant. I reiterate, there is no real comparison between our industries, lest aviation industries.

With the current stratum of potential BVR counter measures already available and those that will be available with the block III (which are pretty decent), one would logically expect future upgrades to catch up with the requisites to be an even more dangerous interceptor against the Rafale so your low IQ imbecilic derision doesn't hold up because the current pace is vexatious for indiots

I sure hope they stick with the JF-17 as the Typhoon is first of all expensive and most importantly it would be a logistical nightmare and let's not forget the other advantages that comes with the Thunder such as production and supply chain facilities as well as the main d'oeuvre of two geographically neighboring allies which i hope (i guess not?) makes everything else self evident for you

When an indian speaks or writes comments, it's the same as faeces flowing. Why we do we allow such things on PDF? Have no idea. But if PDF is to become a world class defence forum that can be compared to those defence forums from the West, Russia or China, we seriously need to drop the indian infestation and disease on PDF.
