Is Pakistani author Omar Shahid Hamid signing a deal with Netflix?

Pakistani author Omar Shahid Hamid has said that his famous book The Party Worker will be adapted into a film or a TV series. He followed his initial tweet by cryptic hashtags, one of which referred to to Netflix.
Hamid was responding to a tweet which asked what show should be the first Pakistani series on Netflix? The author wrote without confirming anything, “Funny you should mention it. Just signed a film/series deal for The Party Worker.#ThePartyWorker #netflixherewecome #ifallelsefailsHumtvzindabad”
It’s unclear whether he used the #Netflixherewecome to actually hint at a possible collaboration or was just joking about all the possibilities that arose with the twitter query. We are just excited that the book is actually being turned into a film/TV series.
Will it become the first Pakistani book to be turned into a Netflix original? We can only hope so!
