Wanted to ask the Pakistani posters on here this question, I don't know much about the economy, etc so maybe some posters more knowledgeable than I can answer this.

Back in the day wasn't Pakistans economy much better than most Asian countries? Now I am hearing Pakistan could be facing bankruptcy, etc? Is this true?

Please don't troll each other and resort to racism, I just want opinions and answers.

@Vanguard One;

Pakistan is a rich country but lacks financial bank at the moment. It has trillions of dollars of minerals, oil, coal, copper, water, fertile land, sun, ocean, mountains, rivers and world's 5th largest hardworking population with young majority being under 35. It is not bank-corrupt and it will not be bank-corrupt.

There are forces however who do not want to see it progress, gain independence or stabilise itself as a Nation-state. They are busy harming it - but they plan and Allah plan and Allah is the best planner of them all. Pakistan has pulled through hard times before, and it will pull through again. Allah willing, this country is here to stay until the Last Day - InShaAllah.

some heavenly power up there must like Pakistan whenever it is about to happen someone somewhere starts needing Pakistan.

came to the brink 3 times in my living memory.
  1. Bhutto (the original) broke it then Gen Zia pulled it back from the precipice with US and Arab help in exchange for fighting the Soviets.
  2. Pandit Nawaz did it again, then General Musharraf rescued it with the help of the USA.
  3. Zardari, Diesel and Pandit Brothers did it again PM Khan brought it back with help from KSA, UAE, China, Qatar and IMF (China is still helping and US is not liking it neither is its lapdog superpower 2012).

Till agriculture is strong in any country, they can never be so vulnerable. Produce lots of food grains, fruits and milk. Leave rest of the things to politicians.

The simple answer to your question is, yes Pakistan technically bankrupt country... we are dependent on foreign loans ... repays, deficit, interests etc .... many countries having the same issue but they're continuously expanding their economy to overcome the crisis and burden of foreign payments however, we are still getting loans to repay interests and to keep running dead economy...
